Join the League is bigger than one fall season. Our work with HE Leads, Upper Room KC, Kansas City Connection and Operation Breakthrough shows how basketball workshops keep young athletes learning, moving and connected throughout the year.
The free clinics blended basketball skill development with mindfulness, leadership conversations and nutrition education—supporting both athletic growth and whole-child development.
For young people from historically underserved communities, the workshops created a positive, high-energy environment to build confidence with trusted coaches and community leaders.
One of the summer clinics was featured on KSHB 41 News, highlighting the power of collaboration and community investment in youth wellness.
HE Leads is part of Join the League’s off-season pathway, helping us connect football, basketball, wellness and mentorship into year-round development.
